Leanne Lyon Burns, PT, MPT, CEAS
Leanne has been with The Physical Therapy Clinic, Inc. since 1992 and the owner since 1996. With over 20 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, her hands have brought healing and pain relief to thousands of your fellow citizens!
She received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Baylor University in 1986, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Biomechanics from Western Washington University . She served as an officer in the Army Medical Specialist Corps from 1984-1989 as a Physical Therapist.
She is a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist and provider of the IMPACC Work Injury Prevention Program. She is proficient in Work Risk Analysis, Industrial Evaluations, and Industrial Education
Additionally she is proficient in Spinal Manipulation, Joint Mobilizations,
Strain & Counterstrain, Hesch Manual Therapy of the Pelvis / Sacroiliac
Joint / Lumbar Dysfunction, Muscle Energy Techniques, Myofascial Release,
and more.

Lolita received her Physical Therapy degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1998. She has over 9 years of experience as a PT in rehabilitation, outpatient, acute care and wound care. She recently arrived in Jacksonville from Okinawa, Japan, where she was a Staff PT at the US Naval Hospital.
She is proficient in mobilization/manipulations for all joints including the T-spine, L-spine, and SI joint. She has attended evidence-based continuing education courses, sponsored by Baylor University, where she honed her manipulation skills.
Lolita has experience treating a wide variety of patients including TBI, CHI, SCI, MS, CVA, LBP, amputees, joint replacements, post surgical, arthritis, and all types of wounds.
